The largest lake on the circuit is Isaac Lake. It's 23.5 miles long. We spent three of our days on this lake. You have to be careful while you paddle it, because strong winds can kick up at any time. For Day One on the circuit, we had to get all of our stuff to the park's registration center and load up our canoes, after getting the gear going into our canoes weighed. The park allows only 60 pounds of gear to be loaded into canoes. I have some food growing in my garden (YAY!). The zukes have 4 blossoms (one started forming a zuke-y, oblong dealie as of yesteday); the tomato plants have 2 tomatoes and lots of blossoms. A black bear was tasered by Seattle police on Saturday, May 20th. Washington parents complain about the WASL personal student survey. OSPI pulls it. It's a small victory, but illuminates the immense pressure the OSPI is under. With the current Seattle climate--a yummy, springish warmth, even though the sky has been gray at times--I've been taking advantage of my meteorological good fortune. Goobermint lawyers sought two defendants' gold caps, granted in a seizure warrant.
