"Spying, Secrecy and Presidential Power" forum in Seattle
If anyone's interested, John Dean (former White House Council from the Watergate era) is the head speaker at a forum in Seattle tomorrow night. It's called "Spying, Secrecy and Presidential Power," and you can read about it here. It's being held at Town Hall Seattle at 7:00pm. Dean will speak along with Lisa Graves, from the ACLU.

Were you going to attend this event? I would but there is no way for me to get there by the start time.
If you do go, would you be interested in recording it (if possible) and sharing it with us?
Hi Don,
I'm not sure if I'll make it up there tonight. I'd really like to, but I've already been gone twice this week for class, and I'm not sure I want to be gone another evening this week.
If I do end up making it up there, I will record it, if possible, or at the very least take lots of notes.
I emailed the author of the PI article, Joel Connelly, with the following question:
Do you know if this event will be recorded/rebroadcasted for public viewing? If so, when?
To which he replied:
I can give you a partial answer. The Seattle Channel and TVW will both be filming tonight. When it airs, I do not know.
Because I live so far North and have DirecTV, I don't receive either feed. Does anyone down there? I'd be interested in a copy.
I didn't make it there, Don. Yesterday, Deadhead Girl invited us over to sit in her hot tub and after a busy day, it sounded very inviting. I get TVW, so I'll keep an eye on it and see when it's going to play. They usually play a few times, too.
